Poor performance: Three policemen sacked, 26 punished

FAISALABAD: As many as three police officials were removed from service and 26 were punished on charges of delinquency, negligence and poor performance on Friday.

The notification was issued by City Police Officer Bilal Siddique on Friday after he received the inquiry report ordered against the policemen a few days ago.

Those removed from service are: Sub Inspector (SI) Bashir Ahmad of Dijkot police station; Assistant Sub Inspector Sabir, the in-charge of police post in Awagat; and Constable Sadiq of Sahianwala police station.

Those punished included: ASI Riaz Ahmad of Mansoorabad police, SI Akbar of Garh police, SI Muneer Husain of Ghulam Muhammadabad police, SI Noor Khan of Sandal Bar police, ASI Akhtar Ali of Jhang Bazaar police and Inspector Mazharul Haq of Satyana police.
